"Our caregivers are the cream of the crop!"

Hearts of Joy Senior Care Inc. contracts with Clarifacts Inc., an employment screening services corporation, to perform extensive screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal records search, social security trace, employment verification, driving record history, and drug screening.

In addition to their previous experience, our caregivers receive continuous training that includes a specialized curriculum exclusive to Hearts of Joy Senior Care Inc. in connection with The Senior's Choice.  Our caregivers are initially trained under the direction of the Center for Caregiver Training.

The Certified Companion Aide (CCA) is the second level of education which provides our caregivers with the specific skills necessary to handle the challenges they face daily.  This certification contains nineteen essential subjects including understanding aging, nutrition, personal care, and communication.

The third level of education exclusive to our caregivers is our HomeCare Plus program which was developed to assist our caregivers with a better understanding of certain diseases which affect their clients, specifically Alzheimer‘s, Arthritis, Parkinson‘s and Diabetes. The information used to develop this program comes directly from information provided by each of the disease support groups and industry experts, as well as publications and research articles.
